Privacy Policy

Who we are
This app is published by Povilas Konopackas. You can reach us at pkincorporate@gmail.com. Postal address: Akacijų g. 14-2, Raudondvario k., LT-14258, Lithuania.
The short version
The app keeps what you enter on your iPhone. We do not have a server for it. We do not receive it, we cannot see it, and we do not sell or share it. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
Who the app is for
The app is for adults aged 18 and over. It asks for your birth date when you first set it up, to check this. It is not directed at children and is not available to anyone under 18.
What the app stores on your iPhone
Your details, if you enter them: birth date, the sex used for the energy formula, height, weight, activity level, whether you want to lose, maintain or gain weight and how fast, and, only if you choose to answer, whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Your goals: your daily calorie and nutrient targets, whether you marked one as a limit to stay under, which nutrients you chose to show, each earlier version of them with the date it applied, and a copy of your details as they were when each version was calculated.
Your weight log, if you keep one: each weight you enter and its date, with no time of day, and a mark on a logged weight you chose not to use, so that the app does not offer it again. A logged weight becomes the weight in your details, and changes your targets, only when you choose to use it.
Your food log: each food you log, the amount, the date and time, and its nutrition values.
Your own foods: foods you add by scanning a label or typing values, with the name and values you saved, the date you saved it and, if you kept it as you added it after a barcode the app did not find, that barcode number.
Your saved meals: the name of each meal you save, and its foods with their amounts and nutrition values, the date you saved it and the date you last logged it.
Your workouts, if you log them: the date and time, the type, the minutes, how hard it felt, and, only if you type it, the energy figure your watch or machine showed. If you add exercises: the name of each exercise, including any name you write yourself, and the repetitions, load or time of each set, and whether you marked the set as a warm-up. Workouts and exercises are kept as a record and shown back to you. They do not change your calorie or nutrient targets unless you turn on "Count workouts in my calories" under Goals. If you do, the app works out an amount for each workout on your iPhone, from its type, effort and minutes, your weight and height and, if you typed it, the figure your watch or machine showed, and uses it with your other details to set that day's calorie figure and the targets worked from it. The amount is not stored; it is worked out again each time it is shown. A workout you have started entering and not yet saved is kept on your iPhone, so that it is not lost if the app closes. It is removed when you save it, when you discard it, when you start entering a workout for a different day, or when you use "Delete all my data" or "Delete all workouts and exercises".
If you turn on "Count workouts in my calories": the dates you turned it on, changed it or stopped it, how you chose to have workouts counted, the date you were first shown this choice, and a note that you went through its questions and agreed to the text shown before it was turned on, with the date, which version of the questions and which text it was and, if a notice was shown to you, which one. Your answers themselves are not stored, but a stored notice shows that you answered yes to the question it belongs to. Stopping the counting under Goals removes the note. The dates and how you chose stay, so that earlier days keep their calorie figure, until you use "Delete all my data".
Your favorites, your unit choice, your dietary exclusions, the date you agreed to the notice shown at setup and which version of the notice it was, and how far you got through setup.
This information can show things about your health, such as your weight and how it changes, a pregnancy or how active you are. It is stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone. If your iPhone has a passcode, iOS encrypts it while your iPhone is locked.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not send the information above to us or to anyone else. The app's own code makes no network connections. We do not use analytics, advertising, crash reporting or any other third-party software in the app.
Camera and photos
If you scan a nutrition label, the app uses the camera, or a photo you choose, to read the label. If you scan a barcode, the app uses the camera, or a photo you choose, to read the barcode number, and looks that number up in the food list stored inside the app. Both are read on your iPhone by Apple's on-device text and barcode recognition. Nothing the camera sees is uploaded, and the app does not save the photo or the camera picture. From a label, only the food name and values you confirm are saved. From a barcode, nothing is saved unless you log or favorite the food it finds. The barcode number is kept in one case only: when the app does not find the barcode and you keep that food in My foods as you add it from that screen, the number is saved with that food so that scanning it again finds it. When you type the values in from that screen, the Keep in My foods switch starts on and you can turn it off. When you choose a photo, the app receives only the photo you pick, not your photo library.
Purchases
If you subscribe to Premium, the purchase is made through Apple's App Store. Apple handles your payment and holds your payment and purchase details under its own privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/. On your iPhone, Apple tells the app which subscription is active and when its current period ends, so the app can unlock Premium features. We do not receive your name, your Apple Account, or your payment details. Apple gives us sales reports that do not identify you. If you have turned on "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone's privacy settings, Apple also gives us crash reports and usage totals that do not identify you.
Backups and moving to a new iPhone
Because the information is stored on your iPhone, it is included in backups of your iPhone if you have turned them on: iCloud Backup, or a backup to your computer. Those backups are made by Apple's software under your Apple Account, not by us, and we cannot access them. If you restore a backup or move to a new iPhone, your information comes with it.
Export
In Settings you can choose "Export my data". The app creates eleven files on your iPhone: your food log, your goal history, your weight log, your workouts, your exercise sets, your details, your own foods, your saved meals, your favorites, the exercises you added, and the dates and choices of "Count workouts in my calories". It shows a button that opens the share sheet. The workouts file also shows the amount counted for each workout on days when counting was on. The details file holds your birth date and, if you answered it, whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The goal history file holds the same details as they were for each version of your goals, so it can show an answer you have since changed. The counting file names any notice you were shown, which shows that you answered yes to the question it belongs to. Files that hold a time, or a date worked out from a time, also name the time zone your iPhone was set to when the files were made, so that the times can be read. The app reads the time zone from your iPhone when it makes the files. The files go only where you send them. The app keeps its own copy of the files only until you export again, the app next starts, or you use "Delete all my data" or "Delete all workouts and exercises". Copies you send or save somewhere else are outside the app and under your control. These things the app stores are not in the files: the mark on a logged weight you chose not to use; how far you got through setup; a workout you started entering and have not saved; the date your details were last saved; the working behind each version of your targets (the files give the targets); for each food you logged or saved in a meal, the serving and portion sizes saved with it and, for a food from the built-in food list, which entry it came from; the unit you typed an amount in (the files give amounts in grams, millilitres or servings); the time of day, where a file gives only a date or where an entry is filed under a different day than the one it was entered on; for "Count workouts in my calories", which version of the questions you went through, which text you agreed to and the date you agreed; and the app's own reference numbers for each record.
Deleting your data
In Settings, "Delete all my data" erases your details, goals, food log, weight log, your own foods, saved meals, workouts and exercises, favorites, dietary exclusions, settings and the export files the app made, from the app on your iPhone and returns the app to its first screen. You can also delete only your workouts and exercises in Settings. You can delete any single logged weight in the weight log under Goals. Deleting the app from your iPhone also removes its data from that iPhone. Neither action changes backups of your iPhone that were made earlier, or files you already exported; you manage those yourself. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription; you manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.
How long data is kept
The information stays on your iPhone until you delete it or delete the app. We keep nothing, because we receive nothing.
Your choices and rights
You can see everything the app holds about you in the app itself. You can correct your details, your goals and each weight you logged at any time, export what the app holds as described under "Export", and erase everything with "Delete all my data". The notice you agree to at setup is your consent to the app storing and using your details, the weights you log and the workouts you log on your iPhone, to calculate your targets and to show you your weight and your activity over time and, if you turn it on, to count your workouts in your day's calorie figure; you can withdraw it at any time by using "Delete all my data" or by deleting the app.
Depending on where you live, data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because your information is only on your iPhone, we have no copy to send, change or delete. You see, correct, export and delete it yourself in the app. If you believe we hold information about you, write to us at pkincorporate@gmail.com and we will answer.

Our mailbox is provided by Google, which stores messages on its servers, including outside the European Economic Area, under its own terms and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Changes to this policy
