Premium: manage, cancel, restore, refund

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription bought through Apple's App Store. Apple takes the payment and renews it at the end of each period until you cancel.

If a plan starts with a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that. The trial length and the price are shown in the app before you confirm.

Manage or cancel. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then RepEater. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to stop the next renewal. Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

Paid but Premium is off. In RepEater open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account the purchase was made with.

Refunds. Apple handles all billing, including any right to withdraw that the law where you live gives you. Ask for a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds, and Apple does not tell us who asked for one.

Deleting the app or your data does not cancel a subscription.

Your data

Where it is. Everything you enter is stored in the app on your iPhone. We have no copy, so we cannot look anything up, restore it or move it for you.

A new iPhone. If you back up your iPhone, through iCloud Backup or to your computer, your data is in that backup. Restore it on the new iPhone and the app opens with your log. Without a backup or a direct transfer between the two phones, the data does not move. Premium follows your Apple Account, not the backup.

Export. In Settings choose Export my data. The app writes eleven files, among them your food log, goal history, weight log and workouts, which you can save or share. The privacy policy lists each file and the few things the app stores that are not in them.

Delete. In Settings choose Delete all my data. It erases everything the app holds on that iPhone and cannot be undone. Deleting the app does the same. Backups you made earlier and files you already exported are not changed.

The privacy policy lists exactly what is stored.

A food is missing or its values look wrong

The built-in food list is mostly United States products and does not hold every product. Values for branded foods are as supplied to USDA by the food industry and can be out of date; the label on the pack is the authority. Scan the label or type the values, and keep the food in My foods so it is there next time.

Targets and health

The calorie and nutrient targets are estimates based on the information you enter and widely used formulas. They are not medical advice, and RepEater is not a medical device. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet. We cannot answer questions about your health by email.

Accessibility

RepEater is built to work with VoiceOver, Voice Control and Switch Control, larger text sizes up to the largest accessibility size, Bold Text, Reduce Motion, Reduce Transparency, Increase Contrast and Differentiate Without Color. Status is never shown by colour alone.

We have not had the app assessed against EN 301 549 or WCAG 2.2 by an outside party, and we do not claim a conformance level. Text and control colours are checked against the WCAG contrast ratios by automated tests.

Known gaps: the app is in English only. Some screens have been checked by reading the code and by automated tests, but not yet with VoiceOver on a device. The live camera views for labels and barcodes depend on seeing the pack; typing the barcode number, choosing a photo and entering values by hand work without the camera.
